Last Tuesday I had the pleasure of teaching another StyleLab Workshop, along with my fav bloggers, The Wedding Chicks.  Amanda Auer of In The Now Weddings designed a crazy-cute nautical themed wedding for the attendees to photograph.  After lots of business talk and some awesome style-soul-searching, we headed out in the gorgeous sunshine to photograph this adorable "wedding." 

I was so proud to have these amazing vendors working with us on this project.  It was a best of the best list of artists and service providers and I was tickled pink to work with each and every one of them!

Poranee and William were another mystery couple (i.e., I'd never met them before the wedding) and I was so thrilled to find out that they are a-d-o-r-a-b-l-e.  Poranee was living proof of what I always tell my clients - if you smile, relax and enjoy your day, you will look radiant in your photos.  Well this couple never stopped smiling and it was definitely infectious.

Last week I made the very long trip to Harbour Island in The Bahamas to photograph Erica and Michael's lovely wedding. Erica and Michael were a "mystery couple," which means that I didn't get to meet them before their wedding day.  I am used to not knowing/meeting my clients before their wedding, but there is a whole new level of anxiety that happens when you're flying across the world to meet them for the first time!  I was (more than) pleasantly surprised to learn that they are beautiful and so much fun!  Here are some favorites from their wedding day -

Sorry for the long blog hiatus! I just got back in to town after photographing a lovely wedding in The Bahamas (more about that next week).  Just before I left, I shot Heidi and Chris' engagement session in Newport Bach, CA.  This couple was so sweet and laid back and it was fun to shoot on the beach for the first time in a while.  Here's some favorites from their engagement session -

Annie and David's wedding was a total pleasure to be a part of.  It was the perfect mix of personality, sweetness and humor.  This very cute couple infused their day with a video game theme (you read right!), including tables named after David's favorite games.  I loved that this couple didn't take their day too seriously and that their coordinator, Angel Swanson, understood the importance of helping Annie and David make their wedding a reflection of who they are.  The lovely florals were designed by Kristin at The Treasured Petal.
