Last Saturday, Marisa and Josh got hitched at the Richard Nixon Library in Yorba Linda. The East Room was a perfect location for Marisa, who has a sort of old-school, classic vibe about her. The event ran flawlessly thanks to excellent planning by former Boutwell Bride, Breanne of An Unforgettable Occasion. But just three days before the wedding, Breanne and her husband Jesse welcomed into the world a beautiful little boy named Charlie, and Allison of Daddy’s Girl Events took over the day-of planning. Both girls did an awesome job and there was plenty of help to make sure Marisa and Josh’s wedding ran perfectly. Even Jesse, Breanne’s husband, was sweet enough to play coordinator for the day (although I suspect he was there to report back to Breanne that everything was running as planned)!

On Sunday morning we hopped on a plane and headed to Oahu, where Marilyn and Matthew were getting hitched. This was a super-fun wedding, because there was so much to shoot! After two tea ceremonies, two dresses, a Western ceremony, a reception and a day-after session we were exhausted! Marilyn and Matthew’s wedding was intimate and beautiful and their families were very warm.

We started with a Chinese tea ceremony at Marilyn’s folks’ house. Here’s Marilyn waiting for the bridesmaids to let the groom in -

After the tea ceremony, it was time to head to the Kahala Resort for the ceremony, which meant it was also time for Marilyn to put on her second fabulous dress! This time it was a Monique Lhullier gown and adorable Cynthia Rowley shoes -

On Saturday, we woke up bright and early (and completely jet-lagged) to shoot Mary Ann and Matthew’s wedding at the Ritz Carlton, Laguna Niguel. It was our first time working with the wonderful and delightful Carrie Goff of Exquisite Event Planning & Design. Carrie did an awesome job with everything from the planning to the decor. Mary Ann and Matthew were a delight to shoot and we had a great time getting to know them! Overall, it was a great day at the office! Here’s a couple of my favorites -
