I know it must seem like I just posted about the bridal shower I co-hosted for Jessica Claire, but Jess is not the only one of my friends to be celebrating a major life milestone. My good friends, Candice and Mark Brooke, are expecting a baby boy, named Wyatt, any day now and I was lucky enough to co-host a baby shower for them this past weekend.
I know what you're thinking.... TWO PARTIES IN TWO WEEKS?!?! Yup. Am I tired? Heck yes. Am I a little lighter in the pocketbook these days? Absolutely! But I am also incredibly blessed to have so many wonderful girlfriends who are celebrating such amazing events in their lives. Plus, parties give me an excuse to craft ;)
We decided to go with a casual and outdoorsy picnic feel for the party, so we chose a nice outdoor location with lots of open space for mingling and lounging around.
The beautiful mom-to-be, a view of the casual seating area and my darling husband and Maxfield (now would be a good time to thank Doug for doing so much for both of these parties! He, literally, dragged every last table and chair around by himself and has been beyond understanding about the time and money I put in to these parties! Thanks babe!) -
To Candice and Mark: Congratulations! I could not be happier for you both! It has been a blast to share our pregnancies and I can't wait to watch our boys grow up together! We love you guys!
