Last Friday, I had the pleasure of shooting Sarah and Rob’s engagement session! I was also meeting them for the first time, which is always a fun adventure. But we hit it off immediately and I was really lucky to have their complete trust right off the bat. I know I say it every time, but my job is just so damn easy when two madly in love people give me complete trust to document their special relationship. That’s exactly what Sarah and Rob gave me on Friday and I’m just really excited to share my images from that day -
I’ve been experimenting (again) with the 45mm Tilt-Shift – It’s a real hassle sometimes, but I think it does something special for an image -

I just love Robin’s expression in this one….

Taking advantage of the crowds -

Funny story about this shot – I was way high up in a tree to shoot this image and it occurred to me, after I was up there, that we were in front of the court house building where I passed up a job (as a lawyer) to continue shooting weddings. I guess I probably wasn’t too cut out for such a serious job :)

And one last shot at sunset -

To Sarah and Rob: you are both remarkable people and I am so delighted that you trusted me to document your big day! I can’t wait!
delightfully,
Chenin
