Last Sunday, I shot Brenda and Steve's wedding at the Turnip Rose Grand Newport Plaza.  I've been looking forward to their wedding for a while, and it was just as fun as I expected!  They're families were wonderful, the bridal party was a ton of fun and, as usual, the food was fantastic!  Time to share some piccies! The lovey bride - Brenda was rocking some red shoes - Comin' down the aisle! I love Turnip Rose, because there's such awesome access during the ceremony - We were blessed with some of my favorite kind of portrait light - Just a fun little first dance shot - Brenda's dad gave an awesome toast - And some shots of Brenda and Steve dancing with their folks - To Brenda and Steve:  Thanks for a wonderful time! delightfully yours, Chenin

Last Saturday,  Victoria and Eric got married at the very cool Point Vicente Center in Palos Verdes.  It's a really cool little venue on the top of a bluff, overlooking a beautiful lighthouse.  Victoria and Eric did a beautiful job tending to every little detail and the event was a true success!  Here's some favorites from this very retro-chic wedding - I loved that Victoria's eye-makeup matched the wall where she was getting ready - A shot of the happy couple right after they said their vows - Some portraits down and around PV - Eric had this bitchin' old Fiat and wanted to make sure they got some shots with it - The gorgeous view from the reception - And a little first dance shot - To Victoria and Eric:  Have a wonderful time in Iceland! delightfully, Chenin

I left a link to our wedding website or you can email me at michelleandj@gmail.com. Thanks in advance for any helpful information, and congratulations on your wedding! (11.26.07 @ 08:12 PM)

Yesterday, I headed to Anaheim Stadium, where the Angels play, to shoot Emika and Haj's engagement session.  It was, truly, an amazing time!  Emika and Haj are an awesome couple and I felt lucky just to work with them, but on top of that, they arranged for us to shoot on the field of my favorite American League team.  It was so super-cool and I can't wait to share my images! in the Angel's dugout - On the field! - in the bullpen! To Emika and Haj: Thanks for the awesome experience! delightfully, Chenin

Last Saturday, Courtney and Gustavo got hitched at the Hyatt Resort and Spa at Huntington Beach. I was so grateful to be shooting on the coast that day! Even in Huntington, it was 90+ degrees! It was a pleasure to work with the wonderful Michelle Buckley and Nisie of Enchanted Florist at this lovely wedding. Let's get down to some pics! A few details - Getting ready - The lovely Courtney - A ceremony detail - Then it was time to brave the heat (and the crowds!) for some portraits - I love these last two - Michelle and Nisie's hard work really paid off - First dance - And some reception fun - To Courtney and Gustavo: Thanks for sharing your wonderful day with me! Delightfully, Chenin
