Just a quick note to let y'all know that I will be out of town the rest of the week shooting two fabulous weddings in Napa.  I will be accessible via email and Gabby will be in and out of the studio to answer calls.

I'm a bloggin' fool today! Getting ready to leave town for a week and I'm playing catch-up! Last week I shot Shirley and Steven's engagement session in downtown SJC.  They were a ton of fun and so easy going - even when Steve spilled coffee all over the front of his shirt right before the session!  I am really looking forward to their wedding next year. Shirley and Steve aren't exactly the trespassing type, but they were game to sneak back and shoot with this old guy's barn -

Last weekend, Kim and Sal had a gorgeous vintage-inspired wedding at Rancho Las Lomas.  Kelley Gin worked her magic again and made sure the event went perfectly. I loved Kim's dress - And the beautiful bride - Kim is really in to photography, so I need she would be up for a little quirkiness - The lovely couple - Then it was off to the church for the ceremony - A shot of the room - The first dance - One of my favorite Asian traditions is the Lion Dancers - Kim and Sal had The Immortals, who are some of my favorites! To Kim and Sal:  Thanks for a wonderful day! delightfully, Chenin

I can't begin to describe how special Aly and Peter are. For the last 10 months or so, I've been trying to put my finger on what's so special about them. I think Peter's Best Man nailed when he said during his toast "They're just so friggin' nice!" It's true - Peter and Aly are two of the kindest, sweetest, most generous people I know. I love my images from their wedding, but, honestly, they don't begin to capture how much love these two people share together. The fabulous Aly getting ready - The three flower girls were real characters - Aly coming in on a horse-drawn carriage - This shot of Peter seeing her for the first time just gets me - Aly and her Dad, Jim - They were up for a little exploring in the vineyards with me - Then it was time to party - And a little ring shot - To Aly & Peter: I hope you're enjoying Ireland! Thank you so much for being you! delightfully, Chenin

So you wanna be a member of the Anti-Crew, but money's kind of tight?  I get it.  That's why I schemed with the fabulous team at Bludomain to award one lucky photographer a FREE SPOT AT THE NEXT ANTI-WORKSHOP! Here's what you have to do - design the most "anti-inspired" pumpkin in honor of the Coopers' favorite holiday - Halloween.  Now, you're not gonna win this if you just make a lame little jack-o-lantern; your pumpkin should be a bad-ass, a rule-breaker and, hopefully, a work of art!  Send a photo of your submission to info@blusupport.com before October 31, 2007.  The winner will be joining us for 3.5 days of learning, art and general debauchery in fabulous Las Vegas. To learn more about The Anti-Workshop: Vegas go to http://www.antiworkshop.com To learn more about Bludomain's Pumpkin Carving Contest go to http://bludomain.com/blog.cfm See you in Vegas! delightfully, Chenin
